ptsd Quetiapine 100Mg Feedback?

Has anyone been given Quetiapine 100 MG tab for PTSD? My doc has given me 3 types of sleeping pills and none has helped. Today he "upgraded" to this medicine and told me to be careful since I am going to be pretty sedated from it? I also take another pill for anxiety as well called citalophram....The upgrade in medication was because today was my appt with the PTSD doctor and I told him about stuff this month and how it has been rough...due to the 9/11 tv coverage etc.....so he said my symptoms are worst

9/11 adniversary hit me pretty hard since Im from NYC, loss a HS friend in the collapse, lost a few friends in the war (a HS buddy shot in the neck in Iraq for example)...then us not catching Bin Laden in 04 (i was there when Afghanistan was having their first "democratic" elections....so we had to protect voters, ballots, politicians, and then chase and hunt insurgents!)...

Can you say Zombie. When you wake up in the morning you can hardly lift your arms. It takes half the day to ware off. After awhile you get a God aweful headache. Good luck. jmho

I google other people's responses to it and Zombie kept coming up. I will give it a try and report back to the doc (and here), I just need some sleep these days.....

LOL im on top of my Meds because they help plus I dont want to spend money buying over the counter stuff.... so today, after I left his office, I got online and check My heatlhy vet and he placed the order already...should be here in about 7-10 days...

My Doc prescribed that for me recently as well. I have yet to receive them though. Sometimes he will prescribe something and I will never get it. The next appointment with him I will ask him and he will say " Oh .... You never got those? I must have forgot."

Zombie huh? Oh well.....I could probably deal with the Zombie must maybe not the headaches.

I know the feeling...

Wow! Must be nice. My last appointment was on the 19th and I still don't see them listed on HealtheVet. I just stay up all the time.
