Old Or New Ptsd Rule

Rate this question

Question

I do know that when I did my first C&P for PTSD, I was under the old rule. But, last Oct 2010, the VA decided that I needed to be retested, so would I be under the new rule for PTSD? I'm still waiting a ruling for the second C&P. I personally do not believe that the VA is interested in non-combat PTSD, only combat PTSD. Unfortunately, I have both.

Rich was one of the best interviews I ever did at the old SVR shows-but on a different subject than this- it regarded some of his recent H VAC testimony-

I called him up to gripe about something in his testimony the day after the hearing and he graciously said he would come to the SVR show.

Maybe time for SVR to get him back on. Fabulous Vets lawyer and great SVR guest.

Do you have a successful PTSD claim? If yes did you use non-VA doctor to DX you under knew criteria? Any doctor can DX PTSD, but to be successful with a VA claim is the issue. Maybe you are the mystery man, but give us some concrete facts of your claim so we can judge how successful you have been. If you want to spend ten years arguing with the VA on appeals about your PTSD claim that is fine with me, but here we try and help each other win. We all have skin in the game. Your profile says "no service connected disability". What are you trying to do? This is not a debating society.
