  • Trouble Remembering? This helped me.

I have memory problems and as some of you may know I highly recommend Evernote and have for years. Though I've found that writing helps me remember more. I ran across Tom's videos on youtube, I'm a bit geeky and I also use an IPad so if you take notes on your IPad or you are thinking of going paperless check it out. I'm really happy with it, I use it with a program called Noteshelf 2.

You’ve just been rated 100% disabled by the Veterans Affairs. After the excitement of finally having the rating you deserve wears off, you start asking questions. One of the first questions that you might ask is this: It’s a legitimate question – rare is the Veteran that finds themselves sitting on the couch eating bon-bons … Continue reading

Rec'd A Call From The Amc, Friday Afternoon . . .

I tend to agree. We'll see what happens. Sure would be sweet, tho! Of course, I don't know what I'd do with myself, with all my claims being done. Maybe apply for a job at the VA?

Flip- in my opinion based on my personal experience with the AMC- they are a USELESS bunch of incompetents.

Those dopes sent my 2003 AO death claim to the Seattle VARO (It originated here in Buffalo RO)and then Seattle ,just like the AMC, and the Buffalo VARO - refused to read ANY of my evidence.

When my AO death claim was finally transferred to the BVA I was THRILLED!!!!

However the BVA, in spite of 3 IMOS in my claims folders, remanded for another VA opinion.

The opinion was crap and I easily knocked it down.

BTW-at the point of transfer I never sent anything to Buffalo RO again because they cant read- I sent everything directly to the BVA and contacted their ombudsman from time to time to make sure they had it all.

Although I felt my rebuttal to the last C & P exam that BVA remanded for was good enough to award. I also contacted and paid for another IMO.

I should have had more confidence in my evidence because the BVA award came before that IMO doc has a chance to prepare the IMO.

In my opinion the AMC is a scam and is just one more entity that stalls a proper decision on our claims.

I have an AMC decision here that I dont have permission from the veteran to post.

It is an AMC award but it is one of the most bizarre VA awards I have ever seen.

I feel at some point, someone might look into this award and the veteran might get a surprise- no further comp due to VA CUE.

I even asked a NVLSP attorney to look at it. He was as dumbfounded as I was.

You are better off getting away from the AMC because the BVA can READ!
