ptsd Affraid To Believe

I applied for TDIU after suffering from 70% PTSD rating and work became impossible. Months and months have gone by...and even my psycholgist was concerned. He's ask me "did you here yet"? .... and I'd answer no.

Today I got a letter from the DAV saying..... "it;s not official till you get the letter from the VA", but that they see that I have been awarded 100% disability and are rated P&T. I'm very anxious of course... what to believe.

Please help me with two questions if you will.

*How long after the DAV letter am I likely to hear from the VA officialy?

*Does the finding change sometimes after the service organization announces the VA finding (they said VA reserves the right to do that) ?

Of course you do. The difference between 70% and 100%. Probably about $1450 a month for a single vet.

I Was pleasantly surprised to see the DAV wrote you a letter concerning your decision. It would be nice if they did this for all Vets that went through them, especially if you are a paid member!
