diabetes Sdvi Life Insurance And Should I Appeal The Va Decisions?

I received my VA Letter today, awarded 10% for High Blood Pressure from 0% service connected,was not awarded anything for Diabetes 2 . Question, am I eligible to apply for SDVI LIFE INSURANCE, and second based on the high blood pressure readings I mentioned in earlier posting during my C&P exam. should I file for an appeal? Also, as I mentioned before in a previous post, that I was not asked one question about my Diabetes 2 during my C&P exam, should I appeal this ?Please reply back. This appeal stuff is new to me. Thank you.

Is you HBP award a new award? If it is then apply for the life insurance if you need it. Have you checked the private market? Are you a Vietnam vet? If you are and have DMII then appeal your denial. I would appeal the whole thing depending on how high my blood pressue was during service and how high it is now.
