2 - 12 months.

There is no systemic time frame.

I know your BVA remand will state (at the bottom) something to the effect of,

This claim must be afforded expeditious treatment. The law requires that all claims remanded by the Board of Veterans' Appeals or by the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims for additional development or other appropriate action must be handled in an expeditious manner. See 38 U.S.C.A. §§ 5109B, 7112 (West Supp. 2010)."

All this actually does is put you in another line.

Not wanting to upset you any - but just to give you a reality shocker and not let you just hang out there

in limbo land waiting on the notice of a C&P that's been scheduled and getting a decision -

with the current status of your claims process - it will more likely than not,

be AT LEAST a full year, before you get any resolve on this.

Unfortunately it will be awhile as usually therry to handle remanded laims. I think Carlie is right on her estimate. If it was remanded to AMC could be 18 months. Good Luck
