Just chiming sort of irrelevantly...

Back when DH was denied for an increase to his shoulder injury and we NOD'd and I had the SOC denial in my hand....

I called Ken Carpenter and talked with Catherine. Sent them everything, and she eventually told me that Mr. Carpenter felt my DH's claim was too far out of his area of expertise, that he dealt primarily with PTSD claims. She said that if DH filed & was denied for that, call her back.

My thing, point, is that she was very kind and patient, and she or Mr. Carpenter took the time to review a lot of paperwork for no fee at all. Every time I spoke with her, I felt like she cared about what happened to DH and his claim. Made me feel pretty good about the firm.

Ken Carpenter is one of the giants and if he takes a claim it is usually a winner.
