I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO BE ON VA DISABILITY COMP FOR MY WIFE TO RECEIVE PAYMENT WHEN I DIE

HOW MUCH WILL MY WIFE RECEIVE OF MY COMP AFTER IM GONE

WILL SHE BE ABLE TO GO TO THE COMISSARY ECT??

Testvet - no offset, widows can collect both. To collect on the spouses SS it's 60 yrs old, or 50 yrs old if the widow is disabled.

How do they handle DIC and SS payments? is there any offsest or can widows collect both?

We just replaced my wife's ID card this week at Tyndall AFB and I saw her's was INDEF and they said that is what they are doing for retired spouses now. It cuts down on their workload.

That

s been an off and on thing for years. Seems they alternate between two different policy's.
