Thanks y'all for all the helpful info on what to expect etc. What I am wondering though is if I'm dx with SA, what correlation or affect will it have on my asthma and allergies. I wake up every morning with dry and stuffy nose. I didn't have allergies until I some years back. I am now sensitive to just about everything, from household cleaning items to the little ole grannies walking around with strong perfume.

I have allergies and use a BIPAP machine for my SA with no problems. Do you have asthma attacks when you feel excited or closed in? If so, you may experience some uncomfortness at first with the mask. Of course there are several types of masks that you may feel more comfortable with. I would definitely make sure your sleep Dr knows this just in case. I would also stay away from them ole grannies too!..ha
