Question Is There A Time Limit On Sighing Your Wife Up On Champs

Got 100% P%T back in 1999, had insurance wear I work.I'm retired now 64 years old,wife is 69. Now the place i retired from has booted our insurance and we have to pay $600.00 a month for coverage,I never sighed her up on Champsva,is ther a time limit for doing so? Can I still get coverage for her under Champsva. thanks for the help

For ChampVA to work she has to have medicare part a and b. It is required when age 65. Otherwise I agree with PR
