JOHN1 Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) Am 100% PTSD and filed for it to become P&T and no further exams as of Jan 2012.( mentally, just can't take anymore C&P exams) Letter of decision is in the mail and should get it this week. If P&T is awarded where do I go to find the benefits. I am 64 and have 2 minor children and a wife. Any kind of "retro" benefits? Get all your medical and medicine co-pay to the date that the VA goes back for your service connection and file for refund to that date. Good luck Was 30% for two years and have been 100% for last three years. The application filed for P&T was Jan. 2012 (this year). Are saying I can go back to the date I became 100%?? This does not really apply to P&T status but when you hit total disability you can get dental from the VA and this can amount to many thousands of bucks.
