The VA considers P and T for veterans who's service connected conditions are considered static.

I have seen a few PTSD issues get rated P and T.

Vets who have loss of use such as an amputation or spinal cord injury, Heart, Lung disease, are easy ones to get.

Usually the VA evaluates the disabilties when a rating is given to see if a vet is indeed eligible for p and T .

It is an ancillary benefit.

You can file for it but before you do, you have to realize this will open up your claim folder for further action by the VA.

I have actually seen vets including some on here ask for other things only to get put through the ringer with reduction proposals.

I am not telling you not to file for it but only as a caution to be prepared for the worse if you do,

Basser
