Weight Loss...

Does anybody know if the VA will prescribe any medications that will help folks like me who cannot exercise because of my situation lose weight? I know that there is prescription meds that private doctors prescribe that help but I was curious is the VA does this.

You have to start with the MOVE program at the local clinic, but to get the drugs, you must attend a once per week meeting at the nearest VAMC.

Okay thanks. At my request I transferred out of the Bay Pines System and will be going to James A. Haley MC in tampa starting next week so I will see what they have over there for people with spine issues from head to the buttocks.
