Went to the county VSO's office. Get this: She reported that Managment ordered Veterans evidence to be shredded in "inactive" accounts, which included mine. (I had been in that office 10 years ago, and really could have used this evidence.) I had been in that office in 2009..I guess that was not "active" enough.

I took her my BVA decision, and she proceeded to tell me I should not appeal...they were fair..etc., etc it will raise eyebrows, could get reduced etc.

Broncovet,

After my experience with the DAV I'm not suprised at all. It sounds

like destroying what should be considered your property would be

criminal. They are supposed to be working as your rep aren't they.

I'm fairly new at this, but am quickly learning that you have to

look out for yourself. Its a damn shame people who are paid

to help vets, alot who are unable to physically or mentally deal

with this process don't give a crap. I'm sure its not all of them,

but it sure seems like its alot of them. I'm sure they are overloaded

with cases, but if that's the case why don't they just say so instead of

accepting new cases & doing nothing. Just my opinion.

This has got to get a big HA HA. And believe me, I am laughing at both our pain. I don't use my VSO for anything, they are so awful, lazy, negative, and lack the skills of the trade. I do my own paperwork and research my own VA procedures. The only thing they do for me is utilize their " on behalf of " stamp and their representation. My famous VSO saying is " You may not want to do that, it may reduce your rating ". Tough ! ITS THE LAW AND I INTEND TO USE IT
