Yes, he's a PTSD dog. But with new rulings it's unlikely

VA will assist. They've halted all PTSD dog approvals

Pending more study to see if it works.

I'm in class with quite a mix of people. Two Iraqi vets: one who's Humvee was destroyed by

400 pounds of homemade explosives that left him with

Severe TBI and another who was an MP with multiple

Deployments.

Training is exhausting! But Berta is right : we're pretty connected already. He's amazing!!

thanks for the info. i see brochures at my local clinic advertising service dogs for vets with ptds. i don't have that. but i have multiple disabilities including rheumatoid arthritis and a totally messed up back. i'm wheelchair bound. a few years ago, the clinic's orthopedic doctor suggested i apply for a service dog. just never followed through. sorry, its a long answer to why i asked. but i hope your dog is helps you very much! L-)
