Question

I checked ebennies this morning here's what it said>

"Status has changed. Evidence requested is past due.(this is the auto deposit. I called months ago and the girl said, you already have that.) Obviously they did not see this in my file. grrrrrr!

New evidence received, Decision notification sent.

Developement letter sent."

The Status listed was, Preparation for Decision.

It also states: Change of Status: We determined your claim needed additional review.

If additional information is needed from you,you will receive a letter from us explaining

what is needed.

I am totally confused as to what is going on here.

I checked the letter box and didn't see anything new.

Does anyone know what this could mean?

Thanks so much,

VetswifeIndy

Yeah, I have a dependency claim open since March of this year. The VARO called and needed my youngest's SSAN. I'm already getting compensated for the dependency, yet the system shows "claim received" and "status has changed/new evidence received". What a joke!

after 88 days my dependancy claim went from received, to finally showing some action! It indicated "status has changed/new evidence received", I click to see the new evidence and it lists my initial submissions for my claim for increase in 2006 and various documents up to 2010. HOW IS THIS NEW EVIDENCE RECEIVED when the filing date for this claim is 06/25/2012???????

This new claims processing model that uses an electronic claims file and computer assisted analysis is going to be a major train wreck. We can't even get data processing and storage systems in the VA to consistantly and reliable present static data on claims. Give a genius a computer and they will design a rocket to the moon, give one to the average government employee and you get a whole lot of porn and excuses!

Later!
