Question

Yesterday I posted a loessage that did not hit the boardsad.png! Well again,Sevice 1985 - ETS 1989 under med evaluation and profile was too messed mentally & physically up to realize what was going on! I will list just acouple of injuries and ailments, from basic training and all threw out the military I got an allergy - urticaria that sent me several times to the emergency hospital with an ambulance with near death situations, when it occured most of the times the last thing I could remember is waking up in the amulance or in thr emergency room with the Dr's and medical personal looking at me and scratching theirselves all just by looking at me covered from head to toe with the hives, whips, wheels, and disfigurments of the face hands the whole body! The military Dr's and medics stated it as being Chronic-Difficult-Acute-Severe-Intermittent-Recurrent and BIZZARE allergy urticaria, I had to wear a emergency allergy kit as a part of my uniform. 1986 eye injury while in the field. 1988 I was asssaulted by another soldier, I was attacked from behind and punched in the face several times. 1988 2nd eye injury eye muscles were torn along wih other things, right after the injury my vision went from perfect to a nightmare! In a half from ca 6 mo my vision went from perfect to double vision near - far & strabismus in the other eye. 1989 I was injured during a field exercise and taken directly to the hospital diagnost with a Skull contusion, neck contusion & spine contusion. I had many more injuries and illnesses. All stated in my SMR & STR with many other things like at times I could not walk strait!!! After I ETS i saw one of my troops that said, It is crying shame that you got out of the service and he told me about his uncle that was getting VA disability and told me that I should file for it. So after about 2 mo of my ETS date I filed for C&P in 1990. In 1994 I received 10% for my back, 1996 10% eye, 2010 30% neck after I got a VSO. I appealed to the BVA with a CUE for my back, eye, and allergy. It was sent back to the VARO for adjudication, 2012 100% combined rating the VARO did not go back to the original filing date of 1990. My first VSO said, man you got big issues going on at the VARO they discovered somethings in my Files and he would not tell me what and did not inform me on a lot of things! So started to read a lot of things rules & regs and tried to go it alone, I got another VSO that is ok I throught he told me I can't promise you anything! And on the other side I had someone from the VARO to ask me do you got anybody reptesenting me??? I answered yes and he said that they are doind a LOUSY JOB and this I was told not only once, but from a nother VA worker!!! I was told there things that need to be taken care of that is not happening!!! And that I can believe, because I got a call one day from a very high ranking lady! She called me several times telling different things that was very confusing, one day she called me up and asked me what should she do about certain things? I told her that I wasn't a lawyer or nothing close to one and she should dicide what to do she the person in charge she should do the right things. One day she called and said you are 80%, 2 days later she called and said you are at 100% combined. Another day later she said I am sitting here with my team and DRO what should I do, we will do a DRO reveiw. I said that I got new evidence on the way and the next couple of days the letter was in the mail which was strange because it takes 8 to 10 days for me to get mail from the VA. The same day I called up the VSO and asked him to please take care of the calls and things from Mrs....... tel#........, could he take a look at the things that was going on because, I was told by some people from the VARO that somethings were going wrong. They only went back to 2007 on something 2010, 2011, and 2012 on the other. And not back to my original filing date. He hit he fan and said you can go where ever you want to go!!! I asked the VARO for my c-file before they send my remand back to the BVA to make sure the tons of evidence that I sent them threw out the years are in my file. ===============I was awarded inng mYesterday I posted a long message that did not hit the boardsad.png! She called me several times MAy 2012 and since that I have been bombed with all kinds of paperwork rules and regs saying this that and the other, and if you do or don't do this your past due benefits will be or can be!!!!?????? It has gotten way over my head, one VA member said now you are 100% they tried to do the same thing with me, but I got lawyer to sqaure that away!!! In the past i tried to throw the kitchen sink at them, but the way I fill now I am standing in a house without a roof on it and it is raining cats and dogs!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!

    • I would like to meet other Hadit members who live in Michigan.  We have at least two major VA Hospitals (Battle Creek, Ann Arbor).  Or maybe you go to the the John Dingell in Detroit.

I like Ann Arbor.  I like the fact that most of the doctors there are also at the UM Hospital.  I don't like how uickly they seem to turn over though.

    • Really?
I am confused.  A few days ago I spoke to a person at a VARO who said if I die from something other than service-connected my husband gets zero, zilch, squat.  Hmmmmmm, it seems the rules change willy-nilly...I have been rated 100% P & T for over 10 years, MS is static, and I am 56 years of age.

Can a fellow Veteran shed a light on this?

      Thank you.

The site is supported through ads and ad free subscriptions, we are also asking for any support you would like to send our way. You can give a $1 or more it all helps. Keep in mind though that it is NOT tax deductible and we are NOT a non profit. As the site grows so do the costs and ads and subscription do not always keep pace with the costs. Any help is appreciated, but not required.
