Iu And Pand T

Question

I am 100sc and I want to know, can I file for IU and Pand T at the same time. I ask the question because, if I file for PandT and is turned down, I want to have a claim for IU already in. I haven't worked in two years.

Since you are 100% , I don't know the benefit that you would gain from IU..........As for P&T, go for it.

JR is absolutely correct. Being 100 percent has a defiinate advantage over IU.

You should focus on the Permanent and Total aspect of this issue...

You normally want to seek the "maximum benefit available under the law"...that is, 100% schedular P and T, with applicable SMC at the earliest possible effective date. Of course, if you dont think you are entitled to this much, then feel free to "go" for a lesser amount consistent with your particular disability level.

If you think you should get the maximum, apply for it and Let the vA tell you if you are eligible for less.
