Bumping The Process Up A Little

Question

I decided to be pro-active (if possible) a little bit and sent an IRIS to the Seattle RO requesting to know when I will be scheduled for a C&P exam and a hearing test. My claim is over a year and the predicted earliest completion date is 2/2013.

My feeling is that they wait until late in the process to order the exams thus delaying it further.

So, I thought I would see if the request speeds things up any. Worth a try.

We'll see what happens.

I have had two claims decided with good results in the last 3 months, and another claim which has been on appeal fof the last 2 years is being processed at the present time. It seems as though the Nashville tn RO is speeding up the process of deciding claims faster. I also talked to a VSO and he said the people filing claims were geting decisions back in about 3 months after filing. I wish you the best of luck on your claim.

You might want to look over the link below, just click it -

Another thing to consider is if you have your SMR/STR's

(and the issue/s are an initial claim for PTSD or negating a specialty field)

you could go to a private doc - provide them a copy

of your records to review, and have a DBQ filled out,

then submit a copy to your VARO.
