0% Tbi?

Artillery 13F

Question

I was given a rating of 10% TBI last year. I Appealed my PTSD decision and the regional office reduced my TBI to 0%. So it is still on record, but it isn't calculated into my overall percentage. They said the reason was that the symptoms of TBI and PTSD were similar. The 10% TBI rating did not affect my overall rating of 80%. Has this happened to anyone else?

"They said the reason was that the symptoms of TBI and PTSD were similar."

If that is the case they could stop rating TBI separately from PTSD.

Can you scan and attach here the VA's exact Reasons and BAses for the reduction? (Cover personal identifying stuff)

How long ago did this proposed reduction come? Did you ask for a hearing ?

Artillery... I am sure with your MOS being what it was... you saved us 11B many many times... You deserve comp brother.

Well actually there were many occasions where a Infantry squad couldn't kick a door in. Oh but i put my foot through it. I got in a fight with a couple of infantry guys in the barracks and knocked them both out.... Nothing but little boys in pools of their own blood. The infantry guys i came across were just trying to prove something or they were too dumb to do anything else. Oh and i was a forward observer. Go learn what that is, before you open your ignorant mouth.
