The $3700 is your 100SC comp plus the SMC Award Comp. That is your new total monthly SC compensation amount. Think about it, the $3K is taking your basic service connected disability conditions into account. The SMC monthly award, is then added to the Basic Comp payment. I think you saw the chart indicating what the total monthly payment for 100%SC and whatever SMC you were awarded. That $3700.00 is not added to your 100% SC Rate. Most things that appear too good to be true, usually ARE!
