Last C&p Finally

Question

Finally having my last C&P of five tomorrow morning. This one is for Chronic Depressive Condition. Does anyone know what I will likely be facing from the Psych from this Exam.

Using big words makes the VA C&P doctors suspicious and they often can't understand what you are talking about since they are not board certified. What I think they want is broad statements that they can plug into a known diagnosis. The things you don't want to talk about are your childhood, your family problems as a teenager or high school problems with authority or any problems with the law. You want to talk about your service and how the injuries or illnesses you had then are affecting you now. You could have been at Iwo Jima, but if you are not suffering PTSD now then it does not matter. I would just tell the truth and go into details so you give them something to write about.

While I appreciate the comments on PTSD, the original poster is being evaluated for chronic depression. I will be evaluated for anxiety and depression. The letter that one person suggested be written is fine for format, it appears to be geared more towards PTSD as well.
