I often wonder if the perils of dealing with the claims process and the VA has ever been given a name. I think it should be called VA Induced Anxiety Disorder. or VAIAD.

I bet there is some validity to this term. What does the membership think?

VA acquired paranoia with anti-social traits. Symptoms are mistrust of authority and institutions of government in general. Other symptoms are anxiety over betrayal and deep rage against the machine. Fantasies of driving car through front of local nearest VARO. The paranoia and rage leak over into other aspects of life. Desire for revenge poisons outlook on life over time.

The stress induced by the VA is sometimes mind numbing, but I think it's our society in general, call customer service and how often are you sitting waiting for 30 minutes. The VA does not help itself, call the 1-800 number and be told to call back later by a canned message and disconnected.
