cryingbear
Wonder if VA will recognize bipolar as a psychosis since DSM-V refers to it as affective psychosis.
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted December 29, 2013 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 29, 2013 I think the new DSM eliminates all the subcategories of schizophrenia like paranoid schizophrenia. Now it just describes a disorder with hallucinations and delusions. Bipolar also has hallucinations and delusions in severe cases. Maybe the new DSM will have a DX of "All f**ked up" ? "The veteran appears to suffer from being "All f**ked up" which is more likely than not due to his service.
