Unsolicited Strs

I checked my Ebenefits and on one of my Claims the status states "New Unsolicited STRs". Does anyone know what that means. Thanks in advance.

To me it means someone - somewhere submitted some STR's without the VA requesting

you to submit them.

Heck - makes me wonder if it's your STR's or another claimant's STR's.

Is that good or bad that someone submitted STRs in my behalf.

I think that would be hard to tell. Basically, as long as they are your STRs, I would think it would be good. It is always good to have your STRs associated with your claims file.
