Question

In March of 2006 my claim for PTSD was denied by the VA. Earlier this month (November 2013) I was diagnosed by QTC with PTSD and Depression after my C&P exam. My question is should my retro go back to the original date of March of 2006 when I filed the first time for PTSD?

Thank you in advance for your feedback?

When the original claim was denied, was there a VA C&P exam? If not, you can argue failure of due process, if everything else fails.

Yes Chuck, When the original claim was denied in 2006 there was a C&P exam. However, I don't remember it being anywhere as substantive (3 hours) as the C&P exam I recently went through. The original claim shows up as denied on Ebennies.
