Loose Cannon Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) Just found out today that a NC state law was modified in October 2013 that offers FREE registration renewal to eligible vets. What they did was include more vets so you may want to contact the NCDMV directly by phone to check on your eligibility for sure. Here's a link to their current webpage for specialized plates but I don't believe it reflects this recent action by the Legislature.http://www.doa.nc.gov/vets/benefits-licences-ncdmv.aspx Use it as a guide, but call to check. Trying my best to voice my concerns & make suggestions to those in power. For the most part, they've been quite receptive despite the tough economy we find ourselves in.
