If you need anything else I've got copies of everything so Ill dig through if it will help you with estimating.

I've done other testing were my gaf was 55 and 60. This 70 was my highest but it is what it is

The VA has went away with the GAF, but I will say that in my opinion your GAF is high. You could still get depression secondary, if you do I think that you will be in the 10% range.

your going to need a STRONG nexus letter. The doc is going to have to articulate the diagnosis, cause of the diagnosis and a rationale on why he/she believes your depression is secondary to hearing loss. And an explanation on how he/she came to that decision.

There have been similar claims which have been approved so it is possible, but like I said your going t need a strong letter to support your conditions.

Even though thiis was done by va dr ?

I thought that when the va shrink wrote mood disorder because of medical condition plausable....that this was like a nexus.

I called the suicide hotline at va 18 months ago and said I was depressed because of my hearing loss and then they did all these test.

I'm currently seeing a private shrink for the same thing so Ill see what I can get

He is basically saying you have a mild depression. I would get an IME if you want to do better than 10%. Use your private medical records as evidence. I doubt you have a mild depression or you would not have called hotline.
