ptsd Looks Like I Got Denied

It appears my claim for an increase for PTSD and TDIU was denied. My claim was closed and no increase showing on the benefits letter on eBenefits. Haven't got the brown/white envelope yet but I pretty much bummed out.

Thomasc I first applied for SSD back last year. The young jerk was adamant that I made to much money and never did look at my disability. Yes I feel sure if I was on SSD that would have helped me get TU or P&T. I plan on going back next week and reapply and not take no from a young jerk pushing buttons on a screen. BTW since I am retired civil service, the Govt. take about 45% of my SS that they never put a dine toward it as a Windfall Tax

Trust me I know the feeling! I remember getting my denial, first thing I did was go down to VA regional and ask them to explain why I was denied. It was hard to keep from losing it, all I keep hearing was "the examiner felt, the examiner felt". I found out I was denied because of a C&P review, by a doctor I never met.

Continue to gather your evidence, get your C&Ps, and ask for reconsideration.

I'd tell your VetCenter counselor about the denial and ask if they recommend a VSO, they know which VSOs are winning cases.

I just don't get how they completely ignore 2 out of 5 claimed conditions and close them all. Not even a single mention in the decision.
