Go for SSDI. It means extra money and medicare. Medicare is the best value besides ChampVA in existence. If you buy an insurance policy equal to medicare on open market it would cost $1500 a month even without the drug plan.

Welcome to the club,now that you are T&P if you Owen a house and is your primary residency if the state have full advalorem tax exempt for T&P Veteran. We have it in Florida I only pay $300 a year for trash and s.

Also entitled to property tax exemption!!!!!! http://www.veteransunited.com/futurehomeowners/veteran-property-tax-exemptions-by-state/ Most States have a 3 yrs rule meaning if your effective date of 100% granted within those 3yrs you get 3 yrs of refund back from your State Property Tax. Example: You've paid taxes from 2011 to present.....your effective date of 100% was December 2010 then you can go to your State and request/receive a refund for tax yrs 2011, 2012 and 2013. 2014 will automatically be covered.

Dependents College is paid in full as long as they attend a school within the State you're living in plus they will get a monthly stipend.
