Most VSO's do not know when a claim has been processed.

1. The National Service officers may(but not always) receive notice of a completed claim, these are the service officers that are co-located at the Va regional offices, and they almost always never share this information to the chapter service officer.

2. Chapter Service officers never receive a copy of a completed claim.

3. It is your responsibility to call your service officer if you are looking for answers, remember you are only one of the many veterans that the service officer is trying to help. But If you call your service officer for information all he can do is pick up the phone and call the regional office, something you can do yourself.

This opinion is based on my experiences as a past chapter service officer.
