Question

Per NVLSP , page 1299, 2006 Edition of the VBM-

Texas tech has a new database on USMC unit records and operation reports and historical info under the Vietnam Archives at http://www.ttu.edu and suggests that these records specific to a claim can be printed and sent to VA in support of claims from USMC Vietnam veterans.

Each branch of service also has their own web sites with links to historical archived data.

Also any Navy Hospital Corpsman attached to the FMF units should have the same info available....they would have been the one to make the unit medical treatment entry into the SMR.

When asigned to a Marine unit you become a Marine, but always remain a Sailor at heart!

Hopefully they will floow suit with the other branches too.
