Question
Navy04
Good Evening,
Most of you on here know me and my medical conditions well. The question I have is, I am 100% Temporary, and I am trying to decide whether to file for IU or Permanent. I currently have an open FDC for 6 or 7 other conditions. I have tried to help so many Vets on here, but I am so scared to file for myself. I am just so used to the VA and the Govt trying to lower are %s. As you guys know I also was approved for SSDI back in Feb 14, in less than 10 weeks, and my wife is paid to be my Care Giver from the VA. I have a Mental and Physical Capacity form filled out by VA Docs that says that I can not hold employment due to Physical and Mental Conditions. Below are my conditions that I am SC for:
PTSD: 70%
Testicular Surgery due to Bacterial Infection in OEF: 40%
Migraines/TBI: 30% Current FDC claim to increase %
Crohn's Disease: 30%
Severe Scars due to Surgeries and MRSA: 30%
Damage to Cranial Nerve II: 10%
Tinnitus: 10%
SMC-K, I think due to loss of a reproductive organ
I would say that in some VA areas I am well learned, but in the field of IU and Permanent I have no clue at all. Really looking for you great experts like NavyWife, Berta and Carlie to give me the great push of info that I need. I just don't want the VA to keep messing with me on my conditions. My VA Mental Docs want me to submit another FDC and they know my PTSD will get increased to 100%, but if I can get IU or Permanent than I would rather go that route. Thanks
I also have a bunch of 0%s, but I don't remember them off hand.
