Question

How much does a doctors examination letter that you get saying your sc condiotion is more likely than not to be the cause of a scondary condition, the VA take into account as favarable to your case.

If the doctor gave a full medical rationale for that statement and their medical background holds the expertise to opine on this type of claim, the VA must consider this as evidence of an SC secondary condition.

But it is always best to have the doctor familiarize themselves with the IMO criteria here at hadit.

This statement alone might not be enough.

A strong IMO for a secondary will also contain information as to how VA can determine the proper rating for this

condition. So It helps if they also have a copy of the VA rating schedule for the secondary disability and all available medical records.

They dont need SMRs for secondary IMos.
