Gabapentin

I am suppose to take 1800 mg per day (600 x 3 times a day) but only take it in the late afternoon early evening so that I can actually work during the day. It make me real loopy and then I get very tired. Just wondering if it has this effect on anyone else?

I take it 800 mg 4 times a day. At first they will make you tired, but after you take them for a while your system will become use to them and you should be fine.

After taking them for awhile they just don't work as well for me even with increased strength and dosage. I still get a lot of sharp pain and burning in my lower extremities. I am thinking about having my private doctor prescribe Lyrica for me.

They tried that crap on me and it made me irritable and angry. More so than normal LOL They took me off and put me back on pain meds.

Thanks for your input. I do not need anything to make me irritable and angry. The VA already does that without medication.

I dont wanna say that it will happen to you but that was my experience with it. I would have angry outburst and I ruined a computer and a tv
