Sec. 5126. Benefits not to be denied based on lack of mailing address.
Benefits under laws administered by the Secretary may not be denied a claimant on the basis that the claimant does not have a mailing address.
Maybe I am reading to much into this but I am thinking if the VARO states that they could not contact you but you were being treated by the local VAMC with appointments with a current address in the system then that could cause a problem with a rating decision or an effective date.
Please chime in, would love the feed back.
