I am sure ,as suggested, you can get a buddy statement with a little leg work on the net. You need to prove you were very near to the perimeter. Did you ever do any guard duty that put you there? We have had AO Thailand members here who succeeded and Kurt has helped many many other Thailand vets. His advise boils down to the VA directive....'near the perimeter' and nothing is impossible.
