My old government e-mail address had a dot before and after my middle initial. The e-mail addresses I have for my former federal co-workers include a dot before and after their middle initial.

Just curious, did the answer you received fully answer your question(s) or were you informed you would be receiving a response from someone else?

I emailed Bob at the above address. I did not receive any response from him-which is fine-but three days later I received an email from Washington DC telling me that my issue had been resolved. I'm assuming all these emails he's receiving are being delegated out to someone that can take care of them.

He gave out his cell phone number at a press conference and asked to hear from veterans. I think he's doing an amazing job!

NavyWife,

I am glad you got your issue resolved. I hope we continue to hear positive results from vets contacting Bob. I think he has good intentions and I am impressed he is allowing vets to have direct access to him. I wish he would develop a process where the vets could have direct access to the ROs. If vets could talk directly to the VA employees handling their claims at the ROs, many problems, issues and misunderstandings could be resolved and the claims process would proceed in a faster and more orderly fashion.
