Excuse me,

I hope this is the right place to ask this about a good friend of mine?

My Fellow Friend &Veteran ..was SC 100% combat Vietnam vet,...he took a turn for the worse and passed away, from his service connected disibilty's...my question they were getting his 100%comp and SMC... she (HIS WIDOW) contacted the VA and had a Military Funeral..and is Now getting survivor benefits...and that is only 1100.00.month....big difference in what they were getting....is there anything else she can file for to help her? prior to his death they were living on what he got...

She is possibly eligible for Social Security Survivors Benefits.

She should call her closest SSA office.
