According to Bergman and Moore, the Cola will be 1.7% for retiree's, and (likely to be the same) for disabled Vets.

I think that its as bogus as it can be but at the same time I am grateful to get it. I am pretty much dialed in now and provide my own cost of l;iving increases by cutting down on costs.

While this article does NOT specifically reference VA disability compensation, this is probably a "gimme" going through congress, if I recall years past.

It would appear that Vet's are almost certainly going to also get 1.7 % like retirees.

However, also if I recall, in one or two of those years we got a "0" Cola, Va and government employees got a raise, just not Vets and Social Security. So, that could happen again.

According to USA Today, disabled vets will also be receiving the 1.7% COLA in 2015.
