jeffperry1134
I have used MJ when my PTSD and joint pain go beyond the limits of my medication. It is not that often and it doesn't take a lot to help the pain and PTSD. I have told my therapist and psychiatrist at the VA but not my physical doc for fear of him stopping my hydrocodone prescription. I can tell you that medical grade MJ can be a lot stronger than off the street stuff, but more expensive the better quality.
Moderator broncovet Posted November 7, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 7, 2014 (edited) Interestingly, overdoses of marijuana caused "0" deaths in 2010, while hydrogenated oil, causes 250,000 heart attacks, according to Harvard University. Guess which one is banned? Marijuana, not trans fats. This multiple-pronged attack on blood vessels translates into heart disease and death. An analysis of the health effects of industrial trans fats conducted by researchers with the Harvard School of Public Health Department of Nutrition indicates that eliminating trans fats from the U.S. food supply could prevent up to 1 in 5 heart attacks and related deaths. That would mean a quarter of a million fewer heart attacks and related deaths each year in the United States alone.
