Gvubcd1
Does SSDI help IU claim when it was awarded solely on VA medical Records? 70% major depressive disorder plus others =90% total s/c. Applied for IU as soon as I got SSDI approval letter. It only took ssa 2.5 months to approve.
0 carolinian
I understand what you mean about the whole situation. I am not sure why some vets get the forms mailed out or suggested by a representative and others have to learn and apply on their own means. It will all work itself out in the long run because sounds like you have a strong case and plenty of evidence to present on your behalf. I remember reading somewhere that if a service member is 70% or more for one condition that they can apply for TDUI. You will get it just be patient and keep us in the loop. Take care

0 Berta
"I have been reading a lot of responses from other vets and it seems like a lot of folks are getting the TDUI forms mailed to them because they were 70% for one condition. I had to file for mine"It sounds to me like they should have inferred TDIU and sent the form to you. When VA does this, it can have a detriment impact on your earliest effective date. However if a SSA award precedes the VA TDIU form by one year or more, it can also garner an additional one year EED retro .I explained how that works here, available under a search and used a personal example of how that works.Personally if I had a decision that ignored TDIU as an inferred issue, based on M 21-1MR (the link is in one of these hadit links here) I would whip out the M21-1MR print out, send it to them, and and ask them to CUE themselves in a heartbeat:This might helpandThis Fast letter might help you.....http://www.scribd.com/doc/148923612/FL13-013-001 Edited November 19, 2014 by Berta broncovet and georgiapapa
0 carolinian
I just learned something new about I SSDI was granted before va disability was filed. I was awarded 90% back in March of this year but I have been receiving SSDI ever since January of 2013. I received my first compensation deposit in April with no retro pay and I thought everything was normal. I filed for TDUI around the middle of May because I was working and on SSDI and the claim is currently in preparation for decision phase as of this morning.
