State Benefits - Mississippi

Question

I'm reading this document for the State of Mississippi benefits for veterans and I'm a little confused on what something means. See Below. It says "total" so does being 100% service connected suffice or could they possibly be talking about P&T? What does total mean?

Hunting and Fishing Licenses

Veterans who have a total service-connected disability from the Veterans Administration are not required to purchase hunting or fishing license, but must have on their person proof of age, residency and disability status while engaged in hunting or fishing. Miss. Code Ann., §49-7-5

I'm figuring 100% will cover it but, you're right, that language is not clear.

If you have eBenefits you can print your own letter from it or contact a VSO or the VA directly to get a letter stating your disability status.

on eBenefits: Access My Documents - Download VA Letters- Benefit Summary Letter (You can uncheck any info you don't want on letter like monthly award amount which they don't need to know).

Good luck!
