tdiu Base Privileges For 70% Tdiu?

Can I use the gym on base and MWR stuff with a 70% TDIU rating? I'm not P&T yet.

The 100% P&T rating has traditionally been the entitling event. However things are slowly changing.

I'm confused in that 70% is one thing and TDiU is usually paid at the 100% rate.

I'm 70% but paid at 100% because I'm unemployable. I get confused with all this too. I'm trying to see if I can use the gym on base and MWR stuff.

You should have all base MWR privileges. You'll need the DoD ID (brown card) and a base pass for your vehicle.

Plan on spending some time if you go on base to get your DOD ID. You may have to get a base pass and active duty have priority at the base pass office. It took me about 2 hours.

I called VA and she initially said no about TDIU and base privileges but then she said she double checked the computer and is sending me a letter for commissary and exchange privilege. Does that letter work for the gym and MWR? The VA lady said she didn't know..
