Question

The Social Security Administration has made 2 appointments for me in January. One for my PTSD and one for back problems. I have heard it is a sign that they are trying to deny you if they send you to a private doctor, which they are doing in my case.

any input appreciated.

My understanding is that while the VA VA has a duty to assist veterans and give the benefit of the doubt to veterans the SocSocial Security administration is supposed to be adversarial and look for ways to deny claims.

Got a reminder letter from Social Security today to go to my psych exam. It said to make sure I confirm the appointmy but I didn't get a call back after leaving a voice mail, guess I'll leave another

I found the SSDI mental exam to be the most honest, simple exam to date, and I have had over 40 combined with the VA and SSA. Just go in there and be honest, and you will be just fine bud. Good luck and keep us posted
