I have a vet who needs legal advice and can't afford an attorney for a foreclosure matter. Has anyone used VA legal affairs dept. in a foreclosure matter. If so please cite your experience and what they have done to get your matter resolved. The only facts I have is that he wants the VA attorney to represent him in his foreclosure issue. I do not have any other facts. Thanks in advance for your answer. Did not know what forum to post this in.

Yup, many people, who can't afford the necessities, spend their money on beer/liquor, cigarettes, scratch & megabucks tickets, casinos, junk food, etc. and then claim they can't pay their mortgages.

I've been watching a documentary about the 2008 mortgage/bank crash, Unbelievable!!! The banks paid large fines - of course much smaller than what they made and didn't have to admit guilt. They should all go to jail. jmo

I'm not sure about this issue, but he can contact the VA about all this, I read some where when Veteran that has a home LOAN via the VA & sees that he can not make payments anymore for whatever reason its best to contact the VA & advise them about it....not sure what they wil or can do about it but if you contact them they can say what to do or what is best.
