Bilateral Tinnitus

Question

If I am raited for tinnitus is it automatically considered bilateral or do I need to file a request for it to be changed to bilateral? I was service connected for tinnitus back in 06. At the time the C&P examiner just asked if I had ringing in my ears. I said yes and took a standard audio exam for my hearing loss claim and sent me on. I was awarded 10% for the tinnitus.

Tinnitus is automatically awarded at 10% when granted SC, and basically it is assumed to be both ears, and there is no bilateral for this condition.
