D*** The Va, Wth Is Going On?

Rate this question

Question

I submitted an IRIS a few weeks ago, and as most of you know my claim has been in the Prep for Decision phase since 12/22/14. Now a month later my damn claim went to Gathering of Evidence yesterday, WTH!!! Now on my Ebennies claim status page it looks like the RO is requesting C&P exams or evidence from VA med Facility, and they have until Mar 15. I am so freaking frustrated, my last 2 FDC claims have been completed in less than 4 months each, and even though a few conditions were denied, atleast the process was smooth. How can we ever get better or relieve stress if the dang VA keeps jerking us in circles like a Merry Go Round. Sorry to ramble guys, just tired of the same crap over and over again. I am grateful that I am 100%, but I want every Ache, Pain and Medical Condition listed in my VA Record in case anything every happens to me, that all.

The last 3 years, I have submitted over 1500 FDC claims. The longest one took 7 months, the quickest FDC took only 1 week.

I believe that the FDC is as good as the documents that accompany it. I do my best to have the vets obtain a DBQ before I submit their claim. This saves a lot of time!

Also, it depends on the VARO that is adjudicating the claim. All of those that I submitted went to the Louisville, VARO.

how does the RO determine what claims to work on and when? what is the order of working them, or the system? not talking only abt FDC claims, Im asking abt claims in general// Like when you get to work in the morning, what claims do you get and why.. thanks

I just looked at my C&P exam results, and discovered the following:

PTSD: will be kept at 70% or increased to 100% Also C&P Doc diagnosed me with Personality Disorder and OCD This was a Review

Crohns: looks to be kept at 30% or increased to whatever % This was a Review

Migraines exam states has gotten worse so looks to be increased from 30 to 50% This was a Review

The following conditions are new and will be SC at per report stating Likely due to SC conditions

Lower Back Pain: DJD/DDD/Bulging Disc Don't know what %, but Doc stated would affect me being able to work

L Knee: will be granted SC Secondary to R Knee Don't know what %, but Doc stated would affect me being able to work

Hemorroids: will be granted SC Secondary to Crohns Don't know what %, but Doc stated Severe with Internal/External Lesions

Asthma: will be granted SC due to Fire Pit exposure in OIF/OEF, again don't know what %
