Regular A&A "l" award, can have as much added to it as allowed by the conditions involved, payable up to the "O" rate as max. However, if the factual need for A&A is met and the veteran has "N1/2+2K" then the special rate of "R1" kicks in and nothing can be added to an "R1", or if "R2" (bed-bound) is awarded, then nothing can be added to an "R2".
