What records does the VA have approval of to check with SSA ?

is it just your medical records only? or can they check to see if your getting SSD, or SSR or can they pry into your history? like where your direct deposit is going? or do they have the authority to get any records & documents from SSA?

Thanks in Advance!

Buck!

Just records but, not where your pay is going. illegal for the VA to do that unless you somehow would like that to happen. My VA pay goes into one account, and my SSDI into another. Either one of the agencies do not know about the others.

OH ,Okay

Well I filed for SSR last year and going have to pay tax on it because my spouse still works and makes over the 32.000.00 allowed for combined income. I am not receiving SSDI.
